I guess it is here to stay, but I’m hoping the chilly winds will be on their way to another city soon! It is definitely too cold to be the third day of May! I am really thrilled to share just a few of our favorites from Faren and Dave’s wedding today though! It was rainy and cold on their wedding day too! At least their ceremony and reception went off beautifully! They endured the biting winds and muddy grass, to celebrate a wonderful occasion. Faren and Dave had their big day out at Mt. Vernon Plantation and the sun even showed it’s face for a little while. We enjoyed a sweet ceremony lead by Dr. David Eldridge, who married Casey and Me! Then the newest Rocconis and their family and friends danced the afternoon away to a very fun band. All in all, through the rain, the day was just lovely. Have a happy Tuesday! Two absolutely wonderful people. I’ve known Maddie my whole life, and even though I just met Ryan, I know he’s great for her! One of the perks of being a photographer in your hometown is getting to photograph some of the most important times in several of your friends and peers lives. Maddie is one of these great opportunities for us, but I am so absolutely thrilled to get to share with her and Ryan throughout this time in their life together. We spent a lovely afternoon out at Elvis Presley’s birthplace and meandered around Downtown Tupelo until the rain and wind forced us inside! Maddie is an excellent actress, and hopefully, with the help of her blushing groom’s encouragement, she will be back on the stage for the Tupelo Community Theater very soon. We can’t wait to shoot their wedding in June in Starkville. Have a great Thursday! Enjoy!

This bad weather makes me crave the mist and chill of the PNW. Casey and I have been gone for about three weeks. First, I was in WA for a shoot, then we went to DISNEY WORLD with our Z family, and last week we were in Starkville for a commercial shoot. It’s been an exhausting, but exhilarating month so far! The April we envisioned with tons of down time, turned in to our busiest month so far this year! In all honesty though, we love it. We would never trade our life for anything! The adventures that Lovely Union takes us on are indescribable. Although we take our work for granted sometimes, we always come back to the realization that life could not be better than working for yourself.

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of spending a spectacularly, beautiful March day with the Crutcher and Abel families. The raw, sweet nature of Lauren and Kevin’s love for each other is something that I hope Casey and I can carry for the rest of our life together. They could barely take their eyes off of one another! They have this glow about them that produces a giddiness that is absolutely contagious. Their families helped to encourage that infectious glow all day. We have all admired Lauren’s dress from our last post. I just can’t get enough of the well-thought of details put into every square inch of her perfectly fitting gown. What a joyful day! Congrats to the newest little Abel family! Happy Tuesday! Enjoy!

It was a great day in Oxford and we loved being with the whole Crutcher clan for a few hours! Lauren’s gorgeous dress fit her like a glove and she wore it with such grace! It’s a beautifully, rainy day and I love it here. I am in town to do some commercial work for our (well Casey and Jason‘s) business, Pignite. I’ll be heading out on Friday, but wanted to keep the blog updated with another beautiful bridal session. Faren’s wedding was a couple weeks ago and we had the pleasure of getting a little alone time with her before the big day. She shines very elegantly in the white empire waisted bridal gown. We wanted to capture some great shots at the church that Faren and I  grew up in, Calvary Baptist Church, and then we went on out to their wedding location, Mt. Vernon, for  a few more. Spring break starts on Saturday for me, as I leave to go on a beach trip with my mom and sister. Casey will be hard at work stuck in Tupelo, but that’s why we love him! We are thrilled to share these photos of Angel and Matthew. We met Angel and Matt a few months ago, and it is INCREDIBLE the amount of love and affection these two share for one another. Their genuine smiles and affinity for each other are infectious! With their wedding still a long time away, we were thankful that they braved the sub 40 degree weather with us. Leah and Johnson are such an amazing couple. Not only sweet and absolutely in LOVE with each other and the Lord, but gorgeous! We had a blast capturing the two of them in their bliss! Their families are each lucky to be gaining the other. We can’t wait for their wedding in February so that we can laugh more from their equally great humors!
