They have this amazing draw about them that would make anyone never want to leave their side. For starters these two are hilarious and bright. They light up an entire room when they walk in together. Melissa and Ian have 4 kids and they love them ever so dearly. The eyelashes on those kids…sheesh…Amazing! Melissa and Ian are portrait and wedding photographers in New Albany. We met them soon after we moved back to Mississippi and have been so fortunate to spend time with them ever since. Their youngest, Coen Henley, was born shortly after we started hanging out. Yes, he is named after Rickey Henderson. Casey and Ian could go on for hours about Rickey Henderson’s stats and gem mint ten baseball cards. I prefer to gush about how beautiful Melissa is! It was such an honor to get to share our talents together. We did a little session trade with these two. Our images from them are so wonderful. They really captured us as a couple! Casey and I had a wonderful time at Disney World and hopefully we’ll be able to share a few of our fun photos from the trip very soon! In the mean time, we have a ton of images to share from our recent bridal sessions, weddings, and engagement sessions!  We were able to spend an afternoon with Lauren and her whole family back in February for her bridal session! It was a great day in Oxford and we loved being with the whole Crutcher clan for a few hours! Lauren’s gorgeous dress fit her like a glove and she wore it with such grace! It’s a beautifully, rainy day and I love it here. I am in town to do some commercial work for our (well Casey and Jason‘s) business, Pignite. I’ll be heading out on Friday, but wanted to keep the blog updated with another beautiful bridal session. Faren’s wedding was a couple weeks ago and we had the pleasure of getting a little alone time with her before the big day. She shines very elegantly in the white empire waisted bridal gown. We wanted to capture some great shots at the church that Faren and I  grew up in, Calvary Baptist Church, and then we went on out to their wedding location, Mt. Vernon, for  a few more. Casey and I have completed our first 3 weddings of the year and can’t wait to share each and every one of them! First, though, we have bridal sessions galore to share! Leah Belk Thomasson is up first. We drove to Oxford under the cover of clouds and then captured Leah’s grace and laughter through mist and sprinkles. She was a good sport though, and her sister, Laura, was definitely a good help! Look at those smiles! See below for a special surprise!

May I introduce to you, Leah, the smoldering temptress. Leah’s groom, Johnson, is very much into film. He’s a writer, director, et al. He loves the movies! I thought it would be a great idea to glam Leah up like an old Hollywood actress! We had the best time playing with her, and thanks and thanks again to, Amy Trudell for the beautiful hair and make up! Check Leah out! Ow Ow!

Cait is not only gorgeous, but is also an incredibly gifted ballerina. I was even lucky enough to be shown a few of her moves! Casey and I can’t wait to watch her upcoming recital and her future performances at the University of Southern Mississippi. Enjoy the beauty of the girl that has stolen my heart in the last two years! (She just happens to hang around a lot, seeing as she is my little bro’s g-friend!)
