Sweet Anna Catherine and Jamal were married in October, but before their nuptials in Natchez, Casey and I had the opportunity to grab some fun shots of them around Tupelo. We had a blast getting to know this adorable couple on a breezy day towards the end of summer. Anna Catherine shares my affection for Twilight and the boys just rolled their eyes continuously while we chatted about the upcoming movie release. Anna Catherine and Jamal moved in sync the whole afternoon. Every step she took, he was one step behind lovingly and affectionately. It was so neat to get to share in their engagement with them. What a stunning couple! Krissy and Chris were married earlier this fall at the Chapel of Memories. Krissy called just a couple weeks before their big day with a frantic voice and no photographer. Thankfully we were available. We were the lucky ones in the end. Their sweet love for each other and all those around them was shining very brightly on their wedding day. It was our pleasure to be there to capture the newest Howell’s first day of marriage! Happy 2nd day of December! Enjoy!

Rudy and Marley are wonderful. These two are a perfect fit for each other and their wedding day was beautiful. We braved the end of Summer heat to capture a few outside shots and I am so grateful that we did. We would have missed out on a great game of Rock, Paper, Scissors if we had stayed indoors! Our dear friend Kaylan meet the man of her dreams in Andrew. We were so excited to meet him and realize how wonderful they are together. Casey and I both knew Kaylan before we knew each other and now we are all friends! It’s always such an amazing thing for us to see those we care about deeply find a love like the one we share for each other. Andrew can’t even keep his eyes off of her for one second. This pair is even sweeter together than they are apart. It was truly our pleasure being let into their little world together for a few hours. We spent an early morning with the soon to be newlyweds at Andrew’s grandparents home and then ventured to Waffle House for some great breakfast and fun shots! The best idea ever = waffles and shooting at the same time ever. These are just a FEW of our favorites! We are so looking forward to December. Happy Happy Monday. Enjoy!

Beautiful Elizabeth and handsome Joel were married late this summer. These two adorable people endured a whole lot of rain for their big day to eventually go off without a hitch. They just wouldn’t be kept apart! The rain did keep all of us inside for the better part of the day though, but we made the most of it and the newlyweds stayed in high spirits. Joel kept Elizabeth (and Casey and me) laughing the entire day and Elizabeth just radiated with beauty. These two sweethearts made our job more fun than ever. Jessica and David’s wedding day was sweet and stress free. Jessica is effortlessly laid back and David is similar in his stature. These two make an unmistakably wonderful couple. Even in the middle of her nursing boards, Jessica made planning and scheduling easy. The summer heat didn’t phase them either. We had an absolutely great time on their journey to get married. It was also a blast to be with Jessica’s best friends again. One of whom we photographed last fall, Anna Killingsworth. We could spend any Saturday with those girls and know it’s going to be amazing! Finally, we wrap up Maddie + Ryan’s sweet posts with their wedding! It was a beautiful day on campus at Mississippi State and with spirits running high the day went ever so smoothly. Maddie’s look was perfected by her “Something Blue” feather and Ryan’s by a beautiful new wife on his arm. These two have been amazing to work with and like I’ve said in the past one of the reasons why we stay in this crazy world of weddings. The newest Pressleys kept smiles on our faces the entire time we worked together. The day that Maddie called and said, “It’s gotta be you guys. I’ve made up my mind already,” was one of the most validating days of my career in photography. A sweet girl I’d known my entire life changed my whole outlook on why I chose to capture peoples journey to marriage in the first place. Thank ya, Thank ya very much, Mrs. Pressley. Beautiful Maddie grew up in the Tupelo Community Theater and spent her elementary days as a Champion at Church Street, so what better places to capture her in her wedding gown. All of her favorite spots in Tupelo! Maddie has such an effortless way of being beautiful. She always makes it look so easy to be stunning. I guess that comes naturally when your inside is truly as beautiful as your outside. Just like the sunset easing past the horizon on this June afternoon, Maddie’s sweet heart and laid back spirit glow immensely. It is more than an honor to know her and her family, but to get to capture this journey of her wedding was a great pleasure for us. It’s blog catch up time! Leah and her groom, Eric, have been together for a long time and Leah’s just knocking on 22. While they were high school sweethearts at Pontotoc High School, these two have still got the bug. It’s quite sweet to be around them. Their wedding isn’t until the middle of next year, but they have the giddiness of a couple getting married next weekend. It was obvious for Casey and I to see that Eric will do anything to show Leah his love and cover her with his safekeeping. We had a blast getting to step in to their little world for a couple hours and we cannot wait to do so again in the coming months. Happy Wednesday! Enjoy!

The long overdue…TEAM FANCY FEET is back! Sweet Tracie Grace and her dear groom, Brandon, gave us a brilliant time back in June. These two SUPER in love people are SUPER fun. For example, the gradient in the bridesmaids dresses, how fun is that? What made the day even better was that every second Brandon wasn’t within 5 inches of Tracie Grace it was obvious there was a part of him that was missing. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her all day and made sure she was happy every second! Their laughter was more and more contagious as the day went on and their mad dancing skills kept them going all night! The new Riesgos are lucky in love and unabashedly aware of the gifts they have been given in each other. It was a joy to be a part of the beginning of such an amazing journey for these two. I’m thrilled every time I see the smiles on their faces in these images. Happy, happy Friday! Don’t forget that we were all given gifts that we’ll never understand, but when we have love we have an inkling of what it feels like to understand. I know I was reminded of that this week from a few trials of the heart, just as I was reminded of it by Tracie Grace and Brandon Riesgo!! Enjoy!
